Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Compensation Consultant who will provide support to the company's Compensation Consultants. The ideal candidate will collaborate and act as the internal consultant to HR Consultants and business leadership on compensation-related issues, as needed. This job is located in Riverwoods, Illinois.

Duties:

Assist with the global year-end process, including project management, stakeholder training and communication, reporting, analytics, and audits
Responsible for participating in the annual external salary survey data gathering and submission on behalf of the company, and analysis of results
Maintain job description library and serves as the owner of the organization’s salary survey database
Make recommendations on job evaluation process and methodology
Assist in the creation and maintenance of salary administration programs including salary structures, merit and promotional guidelines, and short term incentive
Complete job evaluations, comprehensive market analysis, and create accurate job descriptions aligned with best practices
Provide support on compensation related projects, working with cross-functional partners

Desired Skills/Experience:

High school diploma or GED required, Associate's degree in business or related field preferred
3+ years of related experience required
Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
