Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Compensation Consultant who will provide support to the company's Compensation Consultants. The ideal candidate will collaborate and act as the internal consultant to HR Consultants and business leadership on compensation-related issues, as needed. This job is located in Riverwoods, Illinois.
Duties:
- Assist with the global year-end process, including project management, stakeholder training and communication, reporting, analytics, and audits
- Responsible for participating in the annual external salary survey data gathering and submission on behalf of the company, and analysis of results
- Maintain job description library and serves as the owner of the organization’s salary survey database
- Make recommendations on job evaluation process and methodology
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of salary administration programs including salary structures, merit and promotional guidelines, and short term incentive
- Complete job evaluations, comprehensive market analysis, and create accurate job descriptions aligned with best practices
- Provide support on compensation related projects, working with cross-functional partners
Desired Skills/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required, Associate's degree in business or related field preferred
- 3+ years of related experience required
- Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
