You will work with the EBHR team supporting client companies throughout California and other states. While client needs vary, demonstrated knowledge in both employee relations and leave of absence management is required.
Experience in one or more of the below HR disciplines is preferred:
- Performance management
- Compensation systems and tools
- Creation of tailored company policies and development of employee handbooks
- FLSA/DLSE exemption audits and classification
- Open enrollment for benefits and day to day benefits administration
- Deliver compliance training in English and Spanish to both leaders and employees (harassment prevention)
- Recruitment
- Payroll knowledge
- HRIS Implementation(s)
The EBHR team works with clients on-site, by telephone/videoconference, or via email depending on clients’ needs.
ABOUT YOU
You are a deeply skilled employee relations and leave of absence specialist who has also worked as an HR generalist. If you speak, read, and write Spanish, that would be a MAJOR PLUS. You are interested in the growth and challenge of working with multiple companies and industries providing customized consulting services. We seek self-starters who work well alone as well as within a team managing client projects skillfully, safeguarding sensitive information, and making a positive impact on organizations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree and/or current PHR or SHRM certification
- 3-5 years of human resources/employee relations experience required
- Knowledge of HRIS, Payroll and Recruiting systems such as: BambooHR, ADP Run, ADP Workforce, Kronos, Heartland, etc.

- Possess exceptional, current knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws
- Ability to work independently and understand complex situations to reach well-reasoned conclusions which consider risks and benefits

- Manage time efficiently
- Ability to deftly switch between clients /projects
- Must be willing to travel to main office in Santa Fe Springs and client locations in Los Angeles and Orange Counties as needed
- Prior experience in an entrepreneurial environment and/or consulting environment is strongly preferred
WHAT WE OFFER
This position offers a base compensation up to $65k. EBHR colleagues may regularly work from home after a training period from the SFS location.
