Our client is seeking an experience benefits professional to join their team. The qualified applicant will have at least two years of direct experience within a benefits department of a law firm or professional services corporation. Job Overview:
- Assisting with the day-to-day administration and communication of the firm's health and welfare programs including but not limited to health, dental, vision, flexible spending, health savings account, short and long term disability benefits, worker's compensation, life insurance, travel and accident plans
- Drafting all Benefits letters related to onboarding, promotions, verification of benefits and departures
- Resolving routine benefits questions and issues while providing excellent customer service within 24 hours to all internal clients; Ensuring timely, professional, consistent, and legally compliant responses are provided and documented as appropriate for every situation both orally and in written format
- Conducting benefits onboarding sessions
Qualifications:
- Microsoft Excel proficiency to include pivot tables and Vlookup.
- Strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing retirement benefits, such as ERISA, IRS regulations, and Department of Labor guidelines.
