As of September 11th, a New York-based law firm seeks a Director of Recruiting to work closely with the firm’s Partners in the successful recruitment and integration of lateral and entry-level attorneys. This position will involve:
- Advising on talent acquisition best practices.
- Communicating with partners regarding hiring needs and fostering relationships with search firms and law school professionals.
- Interviewing candidates, extending offers, and coordinating onboarding and training efforts.
- Leading the Summer Associate Program, conducting surveys, and developing other internal programs and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of legal recruiting experience.
- Ability to build strong rapport and trust with partners, associates, and candidates while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to take complete ownership of designing and executing talent acquisition programs.
- Flexibility to travel as needed is also required.
- Keen attention to detail with a proactive attitude.
