The Role:
We’re looking for a
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS SPECIALIST to join us in our Chicago Office. As a member of our People team, you’ll be supporting the administration of our compensation and benefits programs globally, as well as providing general HR support across the employee lifecycle to our US employees.

Responsibilities:
- (70%) Supporting with all aspects of compensation and benefits administration for the global business, including:
- Salary survey submissions & pay band administration
- Incentive plan calculations
- Equity plan administration
- Supporting the delivery of our annual pay review process
- Global benefits plan administration
- Leading our global Open Enrollment cycles
- Managing our benefits broker and vendor relationships
- Managing our annual benefits reporting and compliance requirements
- Managing our benefits mailbox
- (30%) Supporting the wider People Team with a variety of tasks relating to our US employees, including:
- New hire onboarding and I9 verificationLeaves of absence and FMLA requests
- Supporting with compliance activities and statutory reporting, e.g. EEO
- Acting as the first line of support for people managers’ HR queries
- Conducting exit interviews
- Reporting and data analysis requests
Qualifications:

In addition to the above, here are the required skills, knowledge, capabilities, and education for this role:
- Degree-qualified or equivalent, preferably in HR or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience working in compensation and benefits, or an HR generalist role with a strong Benefits element
- Experience of working in an international organization – ideally to include the UK
- Experience working as part of a virtual team
- Experience with compensation and benefits administration, to include:
- Salary surveys and structures
- Incentive plan calculations
- US benefits program administration, including 401k and COBRA
- International benefits program administration
- Open Enrolment cycles
- Experience supporting managers with diverse HR queries
- Experience using HR systems – preferably ADP WorkforceNow
- Experience using standalone Benefits platforms – preferably Darwin
- Adaptability and the desire to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
- Highly numerate and data-driven, with very strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Curious and eager to learn
- Highly self-motivated and able to self-manage to deliver to timescales with the confidence to escalate issues and/or solutions that would prevent these deadlines being met
- Meticulous, organized, high level of attention to detail and excellent planning skills are essential
