At CargoSprint, we are revolutionizing logistics and global payment processes. As we scale, we are looking for an experienced HR Leader who will also serve as Chief of Staff to the CEO, helping guide the company through key strategic milestones and building a high-performance culture.
Position Overview:
The HR Leader & Chief of Staff to the CEO will play a critical dual role in both driving the company’s HR strategy and providing high-level support to the CEO. This individual will be instrumental in overseeing HR initiatives— ensuring that management best practices are implemented across the organization. Additionally, the Chief of Staff component will focus on executing strategic initiatives, managing cross-functional projects, and leading the rollout of OKR frameworks to align teams with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management Best Practices: Establish and embed leadership development programs, succession planning, and organization-wide talent management practices.
- HR Strategy & Operations: Oversee end-to-end HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and employee relations.
- Compliance: Ensure company policies are compliant with labor laws and regulations, both in the US and internationally.
- Strategic Partner: Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, supporting decision-making, facilitating communication across the leadership team, and ensuring strategic priorities are executed efficiently.
- OKR Implementation: Lead the implementation of OKR (Objectives and Key Results) frameworks across the company, aligning department goals with the company’s long-term strategy.
- Project Management: Oversee and drive key initiatives from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment across departments and timely delivery of goals.
- Executive Communication: Develop executive-level reporting for the leadership team and the board, providing updates on strategic initiatives and company performance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in HR leadership roles, with a strong focus on integration, organizational development, and leadership coaching.
- Track Record: Demonstrated ability to lead HR strategy in fast-growing companies, ideally in fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS industries.
- OKR Mastery: Proven experience in successfully implementing and driving the adoption of OKR or other performance management frameworks.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex strategies and ideas to executive stakeholders and team members.
- Leadership: Strong people management skills, with a track record of fostering high-performing teams and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Project Management: Adept at managing large-scale projects with competing deadlines, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
- Spanish: Profesional fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred
- M&A Integration: Experience with M&A integration strongly prefered
