Human Resources Director

We’re seeking a dynamic Human Resources Director to lead our HR initiatives and enhance our team member experience across the entire US workforce. The Human Resources Director will oversee the entire employee lifecycle for the entire US workforce. This leadership role involves crafting and implementing HR policies, managing our Employee Management System, and providing strategic counsel to ensure optimal handling of Employee Relations issues. The role also includes managing the US HR budget, driving the annual people plan and expansion as we add new locations throughout the US and partnering with management to promote best practices in people processes.
The Human Resources Director will be responsible for:
Employee Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle for the US workforce, from onboarding to offboarding.
- Ensure a seamless and positive experience for team members throughout their tenure.
Policy Development and Maintenance:
- Create and update the employment handbook, including state-specific amendments and compliance with employment laws.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
Employee Management System:
- Maintain and optimize the US Employee Management System, ensuring it supports global implementation and operational needs.
Employee Relations:
- Provide counsel and support to the US leadership team in resolving Employee Relations issues effectively.
- Utilize data-driven reporting to address and preempt potential issues.
Data and Compliance:
- Manage compliance with E-Verify and other relevant regulations.
- Oversee the offboarding process for all venues and HQ to ensure smooth transitions.
Reward, Recognition, and Wellbeing:
- Maintain and enhance Reward & Recognition programs and Wellbeing initiatives to foster a motivated and engaged workforce.
Annual People Plan:
- Deliver and execute the annual people plan, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives.
Budget Management:
- Oversee the US HR budget, manage relationships with external vendors, and ensure effective allocation of resources.
Project Management:
- Lead and drive HR projects, partnering with the Global People team to align efforts and achieve organizational goals.

The Human Resources Director will be knowledgeable and experienced in the following areas:
- Proven experience in hospitality, gaming, start-ups, social entertainment, and/or restaurant industries. Over 7+ years of proven experience in managing HR functions in these sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong background (5 +years) in policy creation, HRIS platforms, performance management, and employee value proposition development.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with management, HQ, and field venues to promote best practices and upskill teams.
- Proficiency in data-driven reporting and experience with E-Verify.
- In-depth understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and offboarding processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide strategic counsel and foster a positive work environment.
