We are looking for a skilled and highly personable Manager, Human Resources, to assist in human resource administration. Reporting to the COO, this position will collaborate closely with key stakeholders on performance management, compliance, policy administration and coaching managers.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Serve as the primary contact to company employees and managers
· Supports onboarding of new employees
· Partner with business leaders to improve organizational effectiveness, performance management, facilitate effective change efforts and focus on employee experience
· Provides support and guidance to Executive Leadership team, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations
· Partners with business leaders on internal communications to support employees in feeling informed
· Work with managers to enable them to develop their employees and advance their careers
· Assess voluntary attrition levels, identify areas of opportunity and potential root causes, create action plans to address and lead implementation
· Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance

· Demonstrated success in partnering with managers in areas of human resources, addressing organizational and employee development issues and resolving complex employee relations issues

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- At least 5 years of human resource management experience required
- Experience in the banking/financial services/mortgage industries highly preferred
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus
*This position is a hybrid role and must be able to be in the office (NYC or Pasadena, CA) at least 3 days per week. No relocation assistance is offered at this time.
