Abound Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate HR Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will be a key advisor and business partner to the North Carolina Clinical Leader, working closely with the leadership team to drive HR initiatives that support our mission and enhance our organizational culture. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR practices and a genuine commitment to our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
- Consults with business leaders on talent, leadership, people strategy, organization development, rewards, and culture.
- Provide guidance on HR best practices, policies, and procedures to enhance employee engagement and performance.
- Function as a trusted advisor to Clinical Leadership team for employee relations situations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and supportive practices.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop organizational design initiatives by providing insights and strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and maintain employee morale.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness.
- Makes sound policy interpretations and practice decisions; provides client advice to ensure adherence to company policies / practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role
- Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgement when applying HR principles in decision making.
