Position Overview: The Senior Workday HRIS Technology Analyst will play a crucial role in the design, development, and support of the clients Workday HRIS (Human Resources Information System). This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and implement new modules and features. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday, a passion for HR technology, and the ability to drive continuous improvement within their HR systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Workday HRIS-related issues, enhancements, and projects.
- Lead the design, configuration, and testing of Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent Management, Absence, and others as required.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and other departments to understand business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on Workday system functionality, data integrity, security, and integration with other systems.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics within Workday to support HR and business needs.
- Manage and execute the Workday release cycle, including testing, training, and communication of new features and updates.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits and validations within Workday.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related issues, providing timely and effective support to end-users.
- Stay updated on Workday best practices, new features, and industry trends to continuously improve the system.
- Mentor and train junior HRIS team members, providing guidance and sharing best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday, including configuration, implementation, and support.
- Expertise in Workday HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, and other modules.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and practices.
- Experience with Workday reporting, security, and integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Workday certification is highly desirable.
