What’s the position?
As Senior Manager – People Development you will play an important role in developing our businesses learning strategy and initiatives. This role will help us in driving employee growth, performance improvement, and organizational effectiveness. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning programs that align with our business goals and foster a culture of continuous development.
People Development
- Help to develop and execute a forward-thinking People Development (PD) approach that supports the business objectives and enhances employee engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key skill gaps and future workforce needs, ensuring alignment of PD initiatives with business goals.
- Empower a learning culture across the organization, promoting continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
Program Development and Management
- Design and implement innovative learning programs, including leadership development, technical training, soft skills workshops, and where appropriate compliance training.
- Oversee the creation of both in-person and digital learning experiences, ensuring they are engaging, effective, and accessible to all team members.
- Evaluate and continuously improve learning programs based on feedback, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with department heads, the Customer Operations Learning & Development team, HR business partners, and external vendors to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Act as a consultant to business leaders, advising on development best practices and providing insights on talent development.
Measurement and Reporting
- Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of development programs and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership within the People team.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously refine and improve learning strategies and programs.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications in L&D, such as CPLP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent, are highly desirable.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful development programs in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to inspire and develop others.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in measuring the impact of development programs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other development technologies.
