Independent Practice Partners (www.ipracticepartners.com) is a company specializing in starting and managing medical practices across the nation.
The HR Coordinator supports and facilitates human resources processes for the company and its clients, and will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. This position involves working closely with employees to ensure that all HR duties are undertaken in accordance with employment law and company policy. The position will be 80-90% remote and 10-20% on site.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment of new employees, including online job postings, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, conducting background checks, etc.
- Assist in the onboarding process and orientation of new employees, including phones, email setup, computers, etc.
- Create new hire packets, maintain employee records, and ensure all documentation is up-to-date
- Provide support in benefits administration and resolve employee queries related to benefits
- Process payroll for company and its clients
- Manage HR compliance
- Manage employee handbooks and company policies
- Assist in employee relation issues, grievances, disciplinary actions and performance evaluations
- Maintain an excellent rapport with clients and employees, and effectively promote harmonious interpersonal relationships
- Handles confidential information and requests within standard operating procedures, code of conduct and consistent with confidentiality policies and applicable state and federal regulations
Job Skills/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University in a related field preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in Human Resources, Employee Services or any related field
- Basic knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Must have technical and working knowledge in Word, Excel, Adobe PDF
- Experience with Gusto, Bambee, Sixfifty a plus
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
