Where You'll Work
This role will be based out of our Concord, MA headquarters where you will be immersed in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives, and collaboration is key.
Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days. We are moving to a brand new, state of the art building in Waltham, MA in June of 2025!
Position Summary
The Manager, Talent Attraction is responsible for the alignment of the talent acquisition resources with the People and Culture strategies and business goals as defined by a strategic growth plan. Leverages resources to achieve the effective sourcing, branding and attraction, recruiting, screening and selection, hiring, and on-boarding of high quality, diverse talent across the organization. Partners with Human Resource and business leaders to translate business needs into talent acquisition solutions, and to fulfill the organization's talent acquisition requisitions. Identifies talent acquisition opportunities and risks to the organization based on knowledge of organizational capability and internal and external environments. The Manager of Talent Acquisition will oversee the recruitment process, manage a recruiter and TA Coordinator to develop innovative strategies to attract and hire top talent. We are looking for a dynamic hands-on, "player/coach" Talent Acquisition Manager with a strong focus on reporting and analytics to join our team.
What You'll Do
- Proactively develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified candidates for critical and specialized roles.
- Lead, develop and implement recruitment strategies through various channels, including applicant tracking system (ATS), job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters, ensuring high performance, engagement, and professional growth.
- Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand their talent needs, develop recruiting strategies and tell the story with data, reporting and metrics.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates and hiring teams.
- Strengthen Welch's employer brand by promoting our culture, values, and opportunities through various channels and initiatives.
- Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and make informed decisions to improve processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor practices, and talent market dynamics to inform and enhance recruitment strategies.
- Develop and maintain reporting systems that provide actionable insights on recruitment metrics. This includes creating and analyzing reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality, to drive data-driven decision making and optimize the recruitment process.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition team.

What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a team of recruiters and sourcers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility with candidates, hiring managers, and leadership.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform and improve recruitment strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
- Prior food and beverage or manufacturing would be a plus!
Other Environment
- Up to 25% of travel to Welch's plants in PA, NY, MI, and WA.
