About You:
As on or our Senior HR Generalist you will work within various areas of our Human Resources department. You will provide framework and share best practices to empower managers to make well-informed decisions when handling HR related matters, including talent acquisition and retention, teammate relations, HR systems, training, and onboarding. You will serve as a key member in the development and implementation of HR policies and practices that align with CCI’s goals. You will work independently and collaborate with others to support our Teammate experience and CCI’s culture, guided by our CREDO.

What will you be doing?
- PARTNER: You will be a proactive partner with leadership to provide guidance on HR policies/procedures and government/state/local laws and regulations.
- TEAMMATE RELATIONS: You will provide support, guidance and framework, on HR related matters, to allow managers to make informed decisions. You will assist managers, as needed, to navigate conflicts and find balanced solutions, through strategic thinking, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills. You will lead investigations, as needed.
- TALENT ACQUISITION: You will support hiring managers in recruitment efforts, including collaborating on marketing, identifying candidates, and conducting assessments, to make strategic hiring decisions.
- SYSTEMS: You will utilize our HRIS System and will maintain and optimize its use by reviewing for accuracy, identifying enhancements, and creating and conducting training and support for our users.
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT: You will work closely with the SVP of Human Resources to lead strategic projects in line with both department and company goals and objectives.
- TEAMMATE ENGAGEMENT: As part of the Human Resources team, you will be a key contributor to our company culture and help to keep our teammates engaged. You will work collaboratively to develop and implement programs aimed at teammate morale, motivation and satisfaction.
- DEVELOPMENT OF GUIDELINES, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: You will be responsible for collaborating with others and developing guidelines, policies and procedures, as needed.
- ANALYZE: You will utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- COMPLIANCE: You will stay abreast of local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations, ensuring our policies and procedures comply, as well implement and enforce HR policies consistently.
- PAYROLL: You will serve as the backup for Payroll administration.
- BENEFITS: You may serve as a backup for the administering or our benefits programs and assist with the annual design process.
- TRAINING: You will assist with identifying training needs, developing training programs, researching and implementing training systems, and coordinating professional development opportunities to enhance teammate skills and performance.
- OTHER PROGRAMS/SYSTEMS: You may be responsible for or assist with other programs/systems such as: Worker’s Comp, Leaves of Absences and Safety.
- All Other duties as assigned.
How do I succeed in this role?
BE INQUISITIVE: You should approach your work by asking questions to understand the Whys to learn about our business, department structures, and our teammates to understand and identify priorities and communicate potential HR implications.
ORGANIZATION: Organization of both your physical and digital workspaces, including email and file storage, calendaring and time management, task prioritization and meeting preparation.
EMPLOYMENT INVESTIGATIONS: Prior experience with investigations, including data gathering, interviewing, documentation/report writing and recommendation for resolution based on findings.

8+ years prior Human Resource Generalist Experience preferred
Prior experience working with multiple states preferred
Previous experience in Human Resources and/or People and Culture role required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field a plus
Human Resource Certification (CP, PHR) a plus
