SVP/VP of Workforce Strategy and Organizational Design
Location: Irving, Texas (Hybrid)
Job Type: 6-12 month (Contract)
Pay rate: $50-$55/hour (depending on experience)
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary SVP/VP of Workforce Strategy and Organizational Design to lead our strategic workforce planning and organizational design initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive workforce strategies, optimizing resource management, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise workforce management, organizational design, and governance, and will be adept at leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities of a SVP/VP of Workforce Strategy and Organizational Design:
- Develop and implement strategic workforce plans to align with business goals and objectives.
- Analyze workforce trends and data to forecast future workforce needs and address talent gaps.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure workforce strategies support organizational growth and transformation.
- Lead enterprise-wide workforce management initiatives, including capacity planning, resource allocation, and productivity optimization.
- Develop and maintain workforce management controls and testing frameworks to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Design and implement organizational structures that promote agility, collaboration, and efficiency.
- Provide governance and advisory support on organizational design and HR strategy to senior leaders.
- Ensure alignment of organizational design initiatives with overall business strategy and goals.
- Oversee the development and testing of workforce solutions to address organizational challenges and enhance employee experience.
- Implement and monitor testing protocols to evaluate the effectiveness of workforce solutions and strategies.
- Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to drive the adoption of workforce strategies and solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure successful implementation and integration of workforce initiatives.
- Lead capacity and resource management efforts to optimize workforce productivity and ensure effective utilization of resources.
- Develop metrics and reporting mechanisms to track resource management performance and identify areas for improvement.
Minimum Qualifications of a SVP/VP of Workforce Strategy and Organizational Design:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in strategic workforce planning, organizational design, and enterprise workforce management.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale workforce initiatives and driving organizational transformation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and trends.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with HR technology and workforce management systems.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in workforce strategy and organizational design.
