A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Maintain a high level of customer service to each and every new hire as they pre-board and on-board with Blattner.
- Follows company recruitment program by complying with local, state, and federal employment laws; and ensures all candidates have completed online application, assessment testing, pre-employment physical/drug test and background checks, motor vehicle report (MVR) and form I9 via I9 vendor.
- Schedule pre-employment testing through vendor portal(s).
- Conduct criminal background checks and apply relevant policies and procedures toward making eligibility determination. Escalate as necessary.
- Coordination of onboarding events through setting up meeting rooms, candidate travel, sending communications, finalize schedule, and organize catering.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Two-year degree in Human Resources or related degree; equivalent combinations of experience and education.
- Four years of progressive broad knowledge of operational procedures obtained through previous work experience performing duties including but not limited to recruitment, scheduling and/or customer service experience and human resources experience.
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART
- Ability to work in different hiring systems and tools (Workday, Equifax, Vendor Platforms, JDE) is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) preferred.
- Ability to coordinate materials, multitask, and be detail oriented.
