Job Summary:The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall business strategy through effective management of the HR function. This role will focus on Talent Acquisition and Recruiting, New Team Member Onboarding, Benefits Administration, Payroll, and HR Employee Relations. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, outgoing, and experienced in transforming team member engagement, morale, and retention within a small team environment. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition and Recruiting: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and selection.Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- New Team Member Onboarding:Design and execute a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.Conduct orientation sessions and ensure all necessary paperwork and training are completed.
- Benefits Administration:Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefits-related inquiries.
- Payroll Management:Manage the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.Maintain payroll records and address any payroll-related issues or discrepancies.
- HR Employee Relations:Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective employee relations strategies.Address and resolve employee concerns, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.Develop and implement initiatives to enhance team member engagement, morale, and retention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.3+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Business Partner or in a generalist capacity.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition and recruiting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to wear multiple hats.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred/Required Experience:
- Experience with Gusto for payroll management.
- Familiarity with Headway, Alma, and TherapyIQ (not required but preferred).
- Required experience with the Google ecosystem (Google Meet, Google Drive, Google Workspace).
- Required experience using Slack as a communication platform.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $60,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience.
