Job Summary:
As the first point of contact for those interested in a career at GBE Alliance, the Talent Acquisition & Development Manager plays a critical role in developing strong teams across the organization while consistently working to grow our brand. The Talent Acquisition & Development Manager will be responsible for sourcing talent, conducting interviews, making offers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, collaborating with key decision makers, contributing to employer branding, and ensuring a positive overall candidate and new hire experience.
Responsibilities:
(1) Talent Acquisition
- Take full ownership of all internal and external job postings. This includes assisting in new requisition creation, refreshing job posts within the ATS and external job boards, improving job descriptions, and ensuring compliance with state and federal law.
- Source both active and passive talent using a variety of sourcing methods.
- Conduct video and phone interviews with candidates for various clinical and administrative functions across the organization.
- Share strong candidate profiles with the appropriate hiring manager and assist in scheduling second round interviews all while ensuring both the candidate and hiring manager are prepared.
- Manage candidate inquiries throughout the interview process, ensuring a positive experience.
- Work with the administrative team to ensure all back-end paperwork is completed and the candidate is prepared for their first day.
- Manage the ATS system ensuring accurate information and update relevant spreadsheets as needed.
- Attend meetings with external partners as directed.
- Make recommendations to improve our hiring process and candidate experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assist in making final hiring decisions and make offers to selected candidates.
(2) Onboarding:
- Coordinate pre-boarding activities, including preparing offer letters, completing necessary paperwork, and ensuring all new hire documentation is collected and processed efficiently.
- Oversee a comprehensive onboarding program that aligns with company values and culture, ensuring new hires are well-integrated into the organization.
- Coordinate with IT, facilities, and other departments to ensure new hires have the necessary tools and resources from day one.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the onboarding process, collecting feedback to continuously improve the experience.
- Ensure all onboarding activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
- Promote company culture through onboarding activities, helping new hires understand and engage with the organizational values and norms.
- Conduct regular check-ins with new hires during their onboarding period to address any questions or concerns, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
- Other duties as assigned.
(3) Employer Branding:
- Enhance the company's employer brand through creative and strategic initiatives.
- Promote the company's culture and values through social media, careers pages, and recruitment events.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop content that showcases the company as an employer of choice.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or a related field required.
- SHRM, CPSP, or other professional recruiting certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and/or experience working with individuals with ASD or developmental disabilities is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged Sitting: The job involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation while performing tasks such as computer work, data analysis, and communication.
- Limited Standing: While some meetings or presentations may require standing, the job primarily involves sitting.
- Limited Physical Activity: The role does not typically involve heavy lifting, bending, or physical exertion.
- Driving: Occasional travel may be required for meetings, events, or site visits, but driving is not a primary job requirement.
- Computer and Office Equipment: The jobholder will use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and scanners.
- Safety Risks: The office environment is generally low risk, but jobholders should be aware of ergonomic considerations to prevent discomfort or injury from prolonged sitting or improper workstation setup.
- Travel Safety: When traveling for meetings or events, jobholders should adhere to safe driving practices and exercise caution in unfamiliar environments.
