The HRIS Analyst will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of HR processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to support the organization's HR technology needs. The HRIS Analyst will:
- Develop and generate standard and ad-hoc reports from the HRIS for HR and other departments as needed.
- Analyze HRIS data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support HR decision-making.
- Proactively audit ADP Data for missing data filed transferred through API's to reduce errors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS), payroll outputs, management, and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, and other sources.
- Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, retention, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and present detailed reports on HR data and metrics, providing insights and recommendations to HR leaders and other stakeholders.
- Develop standard and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations to facilitate decision-making processes.
- HR Metrics and Benchmarking:
- Establish and monitor key HR metrics and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
- Compare HR data against industry standards and best practices to identify areas of improvement.
- Support HR Initiatives:
- Provide analytical support for various HR projects and initiatives, including workforce planning, talent management, compensation and benefits analysis, and employee engagement programs.
- Collaborate with HR team members to develop data-driven strategies for improving HR processes and practices.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices in data management.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of mandatory reports to government agencies and other external bodies.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and recommend process improvements based on data analysis.
- Work with HR and IT to implement new systems, tools, or processes to enhance data collection and analysis capabilities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between HR, IT, Finance, and other departments to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Provide training and support to HR team members on data management and reporting tools.
Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, IT, Human Resources or other related fields (preferred)
- 2-3 years direct experience with HRIS systems (preferably ADP and/or Paylocity)
- 3-5 years direct Human Resources experience, generalist or above (required)
- Advanced knowledge of PowerBI, required
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, charts, dashboards, etc.), required
Requirements:
This is a remote position; typical work hours will be from 8a-5p EST. Position salary range is $75,000 to $85,000 annually commensurate with experience.
