Job Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned to corporate and departmental goals that enhance talent acquisition and retention.
- Lead the recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring to include management of talent acquisition team. Provide leadership in applying best practices.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence and develop clear objectives for talent acquisition team.
- Optimize applicant tracking system for posting positions, sourcing candidates, and tracking relevant recruitment metrics for executive leadership.
- Analyze recruitment metrics and deliver detailed reports to executive leadership to drive data-informed decisions.
- Provide leadership in sharing and responding to market intelligence.
- Build relationships with business unit leadership and program managers.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure the effective sourcing and retention of talent.
- Create and guide training initiatives for the talent acquisition team and hiring managers.
Education/Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working as a talent manager or head of talent acquisition.
- Experience in all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process.
- Experience recruiting and hiring for DoD programs.
- Knowledge of hiring processes, skill development, and organizational analysis frameworks.
- Proficient at using software and leveraging technology for talent acquisition processes.
- Thorough understanding of state and federal legal processes, requirements, and legislation.
- Analytical mindset, and critical thinking abilities.
- Skilled at negotiation, presentation, and execution.
- Excellent at both verbal and written communication.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Meticulous, hard-working, and goal driven.
