Cameo Consulting Group, LLC a management consulting practice based out of Alexandria, VA, is seeking two qualified and available HR Staffing Specialists with an active DEU Certification to support a prospective Federal client.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
· Drafting Job Analyses and Developing Vacancy Announcement.
· Maintains vacancy announcement log
· Prepares draft vacancy announcements by reviewing duties outlined in position descriptions and qualification requirements for the position
· Assists in the development of job analyses and crediting plans (i.e. Questionnaire) for the agency positions
· Requests the selecting official’s review and approval of current crediting plans as accurate and complete prior to use.
· Assists in preparing classified ads for posting in various publications
· Coordinates approval with selecting officials of vacancy announcements
· Drafts and posts approved announcements on the agencies and USAJOBS websites
· Evaluating and Documenting Time-in-Grade and Retirement Eligibility
· Reviewing employees official record to document time spent in federal positions
· Evaluating private sector experience to make a determination of federal grade level equivalency
· Documenting total federal and private sector experience to create a combined relevant experience service-computation-date
· Review the federal employment history of all employees hired on or after 1/1/2013 to determine the appropriate retirement code (FERS, FERS-RAE, FERS-FRAE)
· Conducting Qualification Reviews and Issuing Selection Certificate
· Reviews applications received for Veterans Preference, Time in Grade Requirements, and required attachments
· Researches the Code of Federal regulations, agency policies and procedures, and other guidance concerning issues related to merit promotion, competitive recruitment, priority placement, veterans’ preference, citizenship requirements, noncompetitive appointment eligibility, etc.
· Documents the Qualification determinations accordingly
· Conducts basic qualification reviews for a variety of positions
· Communicates hiring process and decisions with applicants by sending notifications
· Provides follow-up responses and status updates to applicant inquiries.
· Issues selection certificates
· Review resumes received from other systems for agency-specific hiring authorities
· Maintain Case File and Selection
· Closes out case files
· Issues notifications to applicants
· Prepares and reviews certificates to ensure proper selection
· Audits files for conformance to FHFA’s Merit Promotion Policy and OPM regulations
· Provides case file documents for audits and/or complaints
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 6 years of Federal Experience
- Must have an Active Government Clearance
- Must be experienced with USA Staffing
- Must have a delegated examining unit certification

- Be authorized to work in the United States.
