Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Learning & Development Specialist to join our team and drive the development and implementation of learning initiatives within our organization. As the Senior Learning & Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing employee skills, knowledge, and performance through effective learning solutions. You will be responsible for managing our Learning Management System (LMS), developing engaging content, and providing operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of our learning and development processes.
Responsibilities:
• LMS Administration:
o Manage the day-to-day operations of the Learning Management System, including user management, group assignments, registrations, and troubleshooting technical issues.
o Generate and analyze reports to track learner progress, course completion rates, and other key metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
o Stay updated on LMS advancements and best practices to optimize system functionality and user experience.
• Content Management & Development:
o Design and develop interactive and engaging learning content using tools such as Brainshark or other e-learning authoring software.
o Collaborate with subject matter experts to create effective training materials, including courses, videos, job aids, and other resources to support learning objectives.
o Ensure content accuracy, relevance, and organizational goals and objectives are aligned.
o Regularly update and refresh existing content to reflect policy, procedure, or industry standards changes.
• L&D Operations Support:
o Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the effectiveness of learning and development processes.
o Assist in setting priorities, establishing deadlines, and managing project timelines to ensure timely delivery of learning initiatives.
o Support department reporting activities by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to training activities, learner feedback, and performance metrics.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate learning solutions into broader organizational initiatives and strategic goals.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Proven experience 3-8 years working as an LMS Administrator, Content Developer, or Learning & Development professional.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in utilizing Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Cornerstone) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Brainshark, Articulate Storyline), demonstrating adeptness in leveraging technology to facilitate learning experiences.
• Exemplary project management capabilities showcased through adept task prioritization, meticulous deadline management, and thriving in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to content accuracy and precise data analysis, ensuring the highest quality in all learning materials and assessments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal aptitude, fostering seamless collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve learning objectives effectively.
• Demonstrated expertise in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and implementing best practices in learning and development, ensuring creating impactful and engaging learning experiences.
• Innate curiosity and dedication to continuous learning, maintaining a fervent interest in industry trends and technological advancements, and integrating newfound knowledge to enhance learning strategies and methodologies.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering engaging and interactive learning modules that cater to diverse learning styles and preferences.
• Proficiency in evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs through robust assessment methods and implementing iterative improvements based on feedback and data analysis.
