About the Role
This is a 1099 freelance opportunity for 40 hours per week.
We are looking for key individuals who can lend their proven skills as a Learning Project Manager. SweetRush is truly a project management–focused company and that focus has been the key to our success and winning our clients for life.
You will be responsible for working closely with our clients and our team to oversee the creation and delivery of training materials that support our client's business objectives and ongoing operations. The training solutions we provide are often blended, and most of them emphasize eLearning. Therefore, not only must you have experience with web-based and computer-based training, but you must also have a real passion for online training and interactive technologies.
The Project Manager is a client liaison and project team lead who works with Learning Experience Designers, Graphic Designers, Technologists, Videographers, and Copy Editors. They are responsible for the entire project scope, from inception to launch—both the “big picture” of the project and all the myriad day-to-day details. The Project Manager can identify, anticipate, and manage risks, which results in a smooth, efficient, on-time, and on-budget project experience.
The Role:
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can absorb information quickly. They will have a client-first attitude and be excited to learn about our technology and the industry on an ongoing basis. The PM plays an active role on our professional services team, that evolves processes and delights our clients with on-time deliverables. Additionally, having excellent communication skills is a must. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Own, develop, and manage a professional services book of business consisting of projects of varying sizes and types at one time
- Own the relationship with the client for the duration of assigned projects
- Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables according to project Statement of Work
- Create and conduct regular project status updates with your clients and internal stakeholders
- Align resources across the organization as needed to support client needs and ensure successful project completion
- Create shared and actionable project plans that include defined timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Perform risk analysis to identify issues during the project lifecycle
- Assist in preparing statements of work with the ability to plan and prioritize deliverables, create cost estimates, and create a project schedule
- Advocate for the client and escalate accordingly, track the project budget and profitability, and own the success of the project
- Close projects based on deliverables and provide appropriate documentation to ensure a smooth transition for the client
- Assist in the creation of internal and customer-facing processes, programs, and materials to improve the quality and efficiency overall
The Requirements
- 3+ years in Project Management, Program Management, Product Management, Customer Success, or similar roles in SaaS / Software business
- Must have customer-facing experience working directly with enterprise clients with complex use cases
- Knowledge of agile project management methodology
- Exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented
- Track record implementing software products or solutions to enterprise companies
- Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our clients reach their goals
- Experience working with and driving process improvement within cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Support, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance)
- Ability to thrive in a start-up environment
- Results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Experience with eLearning a plus
- PMP/CSM a plus
The hourly rate is negotiable
