Responsibilities:
Identifies and attracts high quality providers to build a diverse candidate pool for the employed Orlando Health Medical Group and help sustain the demands of system growth strategies.
Essential Functions
- Locates and identifies passive and active candidates using a variety of techniques, sourcing tools, online platforms, databases, social media, the internet, job boards, email campaigns, telephone calls, networking with residency and fellowship program coordinators, attending conferences or exhibitor events, creating direct mailing campaigns, participating in networking groups and any other method approved by leadership.
- Drafts and posts effective position descriptions and content for provider opportunities and monitors online candidate activity with appropriate follow through to generate current and future leads.
- Reviews candidate applicants and identifies those with the desired qualifications for recruiter evaluation.
- Maintains and continuously builds pipeline of candidates to ensure there is depth in the candidate pool with local, national, and internationally qualified candidates.
- Tracks all candidate activity daily in the applicant tracking system and handles triage of incoming candidate inquiries.
- Utilizes the internal applicant tracking system and extracts data to properly identify trends in pipeline and communicates these trends to recruiters and stakeholders and enhance the effectiveness of current strategies.
- Supports and reviews the production of regular sourcing reports with key performance indicators and metrics to successfully achieve priority initiatives.
- Networks with external sources to continually improve and enhance relationships, as well as maintain the Orlando Health Medical Group’s presence in the market.
- Develops and maintains a general working knowledge of physician opportunities, system growth strategies, and credentialing requirements to answer standard candidate questions as needed.
- Participates in meetings and collaborate with Recruiters, Service Lines, Marketing, and other teams to identify appropriate and effective sourcing strategies.
- Manages costs effectively and submits receipts for recruitment expenses for approval and payment.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Other Related Functions
- Maintains a current professional knowledge and understanding of national sourcing strategies and trends by attending educational workshops/conferences, reviewing professional publications, establishing presence in professional networks/associations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and effective with general data entry.
- Professional verbal and written communication.
- Timely handling of incoming emails, phone calls and voicemails with excellent customer service skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education/Training
- Bachelor’s Degree is required; or Associate Degree (60 credit hours of coursework completion) and 2 years of experience may substitute for Bachelor’s Degree in addition to the experience listed in the Experience section; or High School Diploma and 4 years of experience may substitute for Bachelor’s Degree in addition to the experience listed in the Experience section.
Experience
- Two (2) years of sourcing, recruiting, sales, or marketing experience.
- Specific knowledge of the medical and physician community is preferred.
