About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, dynamic, and empathetic individual to lead Annie’s HR function. The Human Resources (“HR”) Manager will play a vital role onboarding employees of newly acquired businesses and supporting day-to-day operations. The individual will promote HR policies in line with Annie’s performance-oriented culture that emphasizes kindness, honesty, empowerment, humility, energy, and rigor. The HR Manager will partner closely with the Operations and Finance functions, and our underlying clinics.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Onboarding
- Own all aspects (from documentation to orientation) of employee onboarding across acquired businesses and the corporate team
- Ensure a smooth transition by building relationships with key employees, promptly addressing questions and concerns
Regulatory Compliance & Employee Relations
- Maintain regulatory compliance by aligning company policies and procedures with regulatory guidelines. The candidate will have the support of a third-party compliance vendor.
- Resolve day-to-day employee issues in a compliant and respectful manner
Payroll
- Partner with the Finance team and clinic managers to ensure employee compensation is accurate and timely
Benefits

- Engage with the employee base to maximize benefit participation
Hiring
- Coordinate interview process with candidates, conducting phone screens and creating a positive experience for all regardless of the outcome.

- Embody Annie’s values and serve as a cultural steward, crafting HR protocols that support Annie’s mission and aspirations
- Nurture talent by continually improving the feedback and review infrastructure
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to support retention efforts and highlight training opportunities as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a HR role, with an emphasis on onboarding, orientation, and employee engagement
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Experience adhering to applicable state and federal laws relating to human resources

- Experience with employee training and development programs

- Compensation offered between $60,000-$80,000 across salary and bonus.
