Key Responsibilities:
In conjunction with and under the guidance of the Recruiter, HR Generalist & HR Director:
- Assist with preparing and posting jobs to job boards (i.e. craigslist, CareerBuilder, Indeed).
- Track candidate interview expenses and compile expense reports for candidates as needed.
- Act as relocation coordinator, assisting new employees by providing resources, confirming travel and transport reservations, and tracking and submitting expenses ensuring usage of allowance is within agreed upon amount.
- Coordinate temporary employee travel, housing, car rental for term of assignment, tracking and submitting expenses.
- Assist Director with communications with travel agencies, opening requisitions for travelers, maintenance of the traveler workbook.
- Track travelers start and end dates; distribute as needed.
- Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed.
- Guide new hires through the onboarding process beginning at collection of offer letter through start date.
- Maintenance of employee files.
- Monthly and/or biweekly reporting to external support teams.
- Create employee ID badges and distribute to employees.
- Assist HR Generalist with tracking a variety of HR sponsored programs. (e.g. scrubs, shoe allowance, tuition)
- Assist Recruiter with interview scheduling and communication with candidates via phone and email (e.g. interview confirmations)
- Special data entry projects as assigned, coordinating with the HR Generalist on HRIS credibility and accuracy.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Some college or technical school coursework preferred.
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in Human Resources or Recruiting support positions required.
- Previous experience working with healthcare professionals preferred.
- Proficient in both oral and written communication skills and have an ability to maintain a good working relationship with others.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; strong customer service orientation.
- Strong computer skills; specifically, Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems with ease including HRIS, mastery of WorkForce Now and other systems within 90 days.
- Strong organizational and time management discipline.
- Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in stressful situations.
- Attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:
Day to day work includes desk and personal computer work and interaction with the HR team, candidates, facility staff and managers at all levels of the company. The position may require travel between facilities and various location within the community. Travel to regional, and Corporate meetings may be required.
The work environment at times may be characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials.
10% travel to Alaska required.
The employee may occasionally be required to move, up to 30 lbs., and may lift office supplies or equipment of up to 30 lbs. up as high as 5 feet.
