This role is with our client:
As the Director, DEI, you will provide both strategic leadership and administrative oversight for researching, developing, and maintaining a range of successful practices supporting a culture that values and prioritizes equity, diversity and inclusiveness. Working with executive leadership, HR, and all associates, you will create and deliver DE&I strategies in alignment with company values, business and talent goals, and to advance the client company work culture and experience.
And, this is how you will do it:
Enhance the DE&I strategic roadmap, with clear milestones and KPIs in partnership with Business Resources Groups and HR leaders and in alignment with the Talent Management strategy
Build on our culture of equity and inclusion by systematizing DE&I practices across all talent practices. Partnering across HR and the business to ensure inclusive recruitment, selection, onboarding, development, and management practices that achieve desired diversity of our candidate pools, workforce, and leadership succession pipelines for key roles; and compliance to federal laws
Create strategy and deliver approaches to ensure that all associates are effective leaders, advisors, colleagues, and role models for fair and equitable treatment of others
Consult to and guide businesses to support high visions, engagement, learning opportunities and best practice sharing across this committed group of associates
Drive initiatives that celebrate diverse perspectives and create a sense of inclusion & belonging for all associates.
Partner with Marketing to ensure integration of DE&I strategy, initiatives and expectations across the organization in all internal and external communications materials
Work in partnership with learning SMEs, create DE&IB educational programs for employees that build capabilities on topics such as cultural awareness and sensitivity, conflict resolution, and manager/leadership development and other programs that promote awareness of discrimination issues, and foster open and inclusive environment, encouraging individuals to take responsibility for their actions
Regularly analyze data to identify potential patterns of activity and report on effectiveness of diversity programs and initiatives
Evaluate existing policies (HR and other) and have a clear understanding of how they support or unintentionally hinder DE&I efforts; make improvements as required
Keep current on DEI best practices and policy by developing and maintaining strong networks with others in the field
Be a vocal participant to drive external thought leadership in Technology space
Manage external vendor relationships and budget
Year Two – continue to DE&I implement roadmap and begin to partner with others to explore broader efforts and strategies that focus on environmental, social and corporate governance policies and procedures

Develop mutually beneficial relationships inside and outside of the company
Be a thought leader and champion for DE&I efforts externally
Understand the power of story and use data based decision making
Serve as a key thought leader on the Talent Management leadership team, and mentor across HR
Required Education, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 10 years in HR or a related field; Masters in HR preferred
At least 5 years in DEI&B specific responsibilities
Proven track record of success working on diversity, equity and inclusion strategic efforts that are rooted in data and research
Adept at enrolling others in a vision and engaging stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify potential issues and discrepancies and offer recommended resolutions
Experience successfully engaging small and large groups in immersive experiences
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision
Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
Ability to work with minimal supervision or formal structure
Experience with managing data in MS Excel functions
Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
Previous experience with Workday a plus
Other considerations you must know:
Variable 20-30% travel
This team is in the office every first and third Wednesday of the month.
