The HRIS Administrator maintains and organizes human resources information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) by performing a variety of professional administrative tasks in support of the organization's Human Resources function.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates and maintains personnel records or other employee information that is accurate, complete, and fulfills legal requirements.
Documents and processes changes, including hires, terminations/separations, salary/compensation actions, benefit transactions, or regular payroll.
Ensures HRIS or related systems are updated appropriately.
Follows established procedures for updating, validating, and correcting employee records or other related HR data.
Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR users.
Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Ensures accuracy and helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
Trains new system users and new processes/functionality.
Participates in vendor meetings/conferences.
Requirements:
3+ years of data entry
High school diploma or GED required, Bachelors preferred
Excellent technical support skills.
Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product is preferred
Understands and uses qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles.
Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions to issues that arise.
