Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Compensation Analyst in Chicago, IL. Summary: The Compensation Analyst will support the Company's Global Compensation and HR People Partner team by ensuring timely administration of various compensation-related activities including market pricing, survey participation, reporting, and compensation data audits. Responsibilities:
- Work with the compensation team to support client requests for compensation related information; Reviews, evaluates, and market prices jobs using multiple market pricing tools; Maintains job evaluation data/tools for all positions within the America's organization
- Participate in various compensation surveys; Review and analyze wage data upon publication of the results
- Complete internal equity reviews as requested
- Design, generate, consolidate, and manipulate data from and to various systems to capture data and provide meaningful reports/summaries based on team needs
- Develop and execute processes to audit and cleanse compensation related data in partnership with our HR People Partner team on a routine basis to ensure ongoing maintenance of clean data
- Create and run audit reports to maintain compensation data integrity on frequent basis
- As a Compensation Analyst, you will provide ad-hoc reporting of compensation data
- Play an integral role in the year-end annual compensation process by acting as liaison with HR People Partners to prepare their populations for the process, assigning security roles, running data audits, systems testing and configuration
- Provide assistance with compensation trends and analytics, job evaluation, salary administration, compensation systems, programs, policies, and procedures
- Revise and maintain compensation policies and procedures documents
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline preferred
- 3+ years in a Compensation/HR/Data Analytics role in lieu of Bachelor's degree
- General knowledge of local, state, and federal compliance laws, including DOL, FLSA, and Anti-Trust Regulations
- Understand complex data and provide relevant interpretation of the data
- Excellent MS Excel and analytical skills; Ability to work with large amounts of confidential data (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, complex formulas, graphics, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to analyze and provide insight on large volumes of data
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to research and resolve questions/issues/concerns in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and a willingness to take on new responsibilities; Must be detail oriented, accurate, and highly organized
- Ability to manage confidential information and ensure that it is kept in the strictest of confidence
- Ability to multi-task in a quick-paced environment
- Must be customer-service focused and able to interact effectively with all levels of HR and Management; High level of agility and sense of urgency in dealing with internal customers
- Working towards Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred as well as Global Compensation experience preferred
- Knowledge of HR Systems; strong Workday knowledge preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
