Position Responsibilities:
The Bond Between is looking for a part-time HR Manager. This HR Manager develops, implements, and administers human resource policies, strategies and services that advance organizational mission while also supporting the employee culture and well-being.
- Manage and maintain the organizational recruitment life cycle process while maintaining compliance and measuring effectiveness
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and confidential manner.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Create, implement and maintain HR policies and initiatives related to employment, compensation and labor relations
- Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures. Maintain organizational handbook and provide guidance on managing policies
- Stay up to date with changing trends, policies and/regulations involving employment laws, labor laws and employee relations
- Oversee and manage benefit plans for the organization; including researching new benefits, claims, billing, annual plan renewals, and ensuring compliance
- Identify and implement manager and employee training to enhance employees knowledge and skills
- Oversee the performance management process, including performance reviews, performance improvement and professional development planning.
- Maintain employee personnel files for the organization as well as document retention regulations and data and analytics
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; or equivalent experience
- 4+ years experience overseeing Human Resources functions (nonprofit is a plus)
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels of the organization
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
