Job Description:
Position Summary: The HR Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent to Major Contracting. This role involves managing the recruitment process, building relationships with hiring managers, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Additionally, the HR Talent Acquisition Manager will handle various HR duties to support overall HR functions within the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies to meet the company's staffing needs.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and provide guidance on recruitment best practices.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Utilize various sourcing methods to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent sources.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Manage the recruitment budget and ensure cost-effective hiring practices.
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
HR Duties:
- Assist with employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Support performance management processes, including performance reviews and development plans.
- Handle employee relations matters and provide guidance to employees and managers.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Support compensation and benefits administration.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and talent acquisition strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
