Position Summary
The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the Human Resources Department by recruiting and onboarding top talent, as well as assist in administering various HR policies and procedures, as assigned. This role is responsible for demonstrating knowledge and application of job duties and functions under the direction of his/her manager(s) and/or Director(s); respectfully interacts with all levels of staff; provides assistance, as needed, during assigned duty hours; participates in department activities; promotes independence; adherence to the attendance policy; encourages socialization; maintains compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory and organizational standards; supports the company’s core values.
Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with external vendors providing tools and services related to Talent Acquisition.
- Maintains HRIS database tracking communications with applicants, through the hiring or denial process.
- Conducts full cycle recruitment for all exempt, non-exempt and temporary workers; posts position recruitment advertisements; phone interviews, face to face interviews and completes all pre-employment screening. Extends conditional and final job offers.
- Create strategies to connect with Educational Institutions and Healthcare societies through grassroots and networking.
- Develop a strong referral network by attending conferences, joining associations, networking with other healthcare companies, connecting with schools for nursing, etc.
- Recommends new policies and procedures and informs executive team of how new labor laws may affect current hiring practices to ensure compliance and best practices throughout FAA.
- Ensures compliance of all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assists with coordinating New Hire Orientation
Requirements
Education
- Education: BS/BA in business administration and/or human resources from an accredited university.
- SPHR/PHR, SHRM CP-SP preferred.
Skill And Knowledge Requirements
- 2+ years of Full Cycle Talent Management and Recruitment of all positions including Executives to hourly non-exempt.
- Thorough knowledge of problem-solving methodologies.
- Knowledge of EEO, and best practices for hiring to maintain a diverse workforce.
- Ability to organize and prioritize various demands.
- Strong presentation communication skills.
- Action oriented and driven for results.
- A self-starter and to work with minimal direction.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate complex information in a well thought-out easily understood manner, both orally and in writing in a variety of settings and styles.
- Ability to delegate and communicate in an honest, direct, and professional manner, relating well to others to build rapport and effective relationships.
