Position: HR Specialist (1.0 FTE)
Location: Remote position (work from home)
Hours: Mon – Friday, some work outside of normal business hours as needed
Reports to: HR Operations Manager
Payrate: $62-68k with bonus opportunity

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The HR Specialist is responsible for maintaining employee data records in the various benefit and payroll systems. Providing front-line customer service to employees and supporting HR and payroll in resolving employee issues. This role is critical to maintaining accurate records and employee data.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
- Maintain data integrity within ADP HRIS and vendor systems
- Manage responses to inquiries received in the HR email inbox
- Support the administration of the annual open enrollment process
- Maintain and update benefit and retirement information in ADP WFN and vendor systems
- Complete employment verifications
- Auditing of vendor billing
- Regularly update employee records
- Project work as directed by Leadership
- Process unemployment claims
- HR reporting and auditing
- Provide employee on-boarding for new hires
- Update and manage content to employee intranet site
- Support responding to benefit inquiries from employees and consultants regarding plan provisions, enrollment status and other general inquiries when needed
- Other HR administrative support including but not limited to process documentation, etc.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
- Proven 1+ years of experience as a HR Specialist
- Familiarity with HR processes like payroll, benefits enrollment and other functions and procedures
- Strategical thinking and mindset to contribute effectively to the human resources department
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Self motivated/ ability to work independently
- Accuracy and detail orientation
- Organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite preferred
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- ADP Workforce Now administrative experience
- Experience working in a staffing organization
- Some knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Previous experience administering health and welfare benefits
