Position Title: Human Resources Specialist
Location: Remote
GC Associates USA requires a Human Resources Specialist who will be responsible for assisting Human Resources and will directly support recruiting, administration, and HR operations for the company. The Office Administrator will work closely with the HR Director and team to provide support as needed on highly confidential human resource matters and special projects. Other duties may be assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directly support all phases of the recruiting process and orientation of new hires. Review and conduct resume searches for candidates.
- Assist with on-boarding and out-processing of employees.
- Understand and coordinate security clearance requirements for candidates as required.
- Experience with government security clearance processing (highly desired).
- Experience with HR platforms (ADP preferred).
- Become an familiar in the options of the company's current and future benefit packages.
- Network with benefit providers to negotiate annual benefit packages, coordinating open enrollment, ACA compliance, and other requirements as needed.
- Coordinate and set-up open enrollment and ACA reporting with ADP benefit team, insurance carriers and account managers.
- Track insurance policies with all providers (medical, ancillary, disability, workers compensation, liability, etc.)
- Ensure all employees are informed of current packages. Provide answers and help to employees with questions. Review all employee-submitted forms for accuracy.
- Design and produce informational material to explain optional benefits.
- Coordinate and execute open enrollment processing with employees.
- Interact with benefits providers regarding enrollments and changes in status, track employee enrollment timing, monitor benefit billing, etc.
- Respond to employee policy inquiries.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
Education and Experience Requirements: Must have a bachelor's degree or four years' of experience. Must be able to work well with team with integrity, confidentiality, and a high level of interpersonal interaction abilities. Must be an effective communicator. Must be able to work remotely, must be highly skilled with computer applications such as Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Adobe, and on-line services. Must be computer savvy. DoD government contractig experience is a plus.
