We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior UKG Technical Resource for a multitude of external opportunities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the successful integration, implementation, and complex configuration of the UKG HRIS/HCM. This individual must possess extensive HRIS experience and demonstrate proficiency in leveraging UKG functionalities to optimize HR processes.
Compensation : $30/hr. to $75/hr.

Technology Proficiency
Deep and analytical understanding of optimization strategies for HRIS functionality, nuances, and system behaviors as it relates to optimizing user experience.
Solution Design
Experience leading deep dive of client assessments, deploying extensive gap analysis, and gathering and documenting business requirements into an actionable project plan. Creation of a solution design that meets business parameters of practicality, culture, cost, timeline, and scope.
System Optimization
Committed to the ongoing detection and leveraging every possible system improvement aligning best infrastructure practices, streamlining workflows, and automation processes.
Implementation Project Manager
Driving successful implementations policies by developing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, providing guidance and advocacy throughout the process as a technical SME. Ability to oversee and manage all implementation workstreams, deliverables, and action items.
Integrations
From assessing technical requirements, to hands-on configuration of system elements, to deep-rooted field analysis, providing an advanced level of integration efforts to internal and external teams.
Configuration
Primary hands-on, “in-the-trenches operator” within the solutions designs team. Able to quickly analyze, troubleshoot system errors and exceptions on my own. This drives faster organizational response and drastically reduces costs from having to outsource to a 3 rd party UKG vendor.
Workforce Management
Scheduling, timekeeping, time clock configuration, badges, leave management, vacation and sick accrual, state-by-state compliance, HR transactional events, system XML forms creation, mobile.
Analytics and Reporting
Formal creation of the reports library, promotion of data integrity, and frequent audits. Demonstrate critical thinking, ability to analyze large amounts of data, to translate data, draw conclusions and make recommendations to management.
Compensation, Learning, and Performance
Ability to configure all performance, sales bonus, and merit plans including providing guidance and planning of required field elements and smooth integration from performance elements. Configure learning plans, calendars, and content.
General Ledger
Heavy GL accounting work, from planning, discovery, design, and deployment to integrations between HRIS, ERP, and accounting system. Worked with Finance teams to audit and review account mapping regarding cost centers, direct/indirect labor, etc. as they relate and do not relate to Payroll. Established Ad Hoc reporting in this area to confirm ongoing compliance.

- Document and validate customer’s business requirements
- Configure Ceridian application to meet customer’s documented requirements
- Conduct consulting sessions and document with meeting minutes
- Attend project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables
- Provide customers with consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise
- Develop SQL database scripts and XML transformers for integrations and interfaces
- Be a “go-to” resource for specific functional areas for internal and external users
- Work with customers to implement Ceridian Organizational Readiness best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Information Systems, Computer Sciences is heavily preferred
5 years demonstrated UKG experience in completing multiple implementation, configuration, integration projects — solely in a technical capacity
Ability to work independently, fielding client's technical requirements, and configuring those requirements that aligns with expectations
Ability to drive discovery, seek clarification, and guide & mentor clients to a "best practices" outcome
Prior history working in Workday, SuccessFactors, Dayforce is helpful, but will not be substituted to replace UKG experience requirements for this role
Must possess superior communication skills, with the ability to demo/present characteristics and nuances in UKG to the most advanced user, to the least
