The HR Assistant primarily assists the HR Director with various administrative duties.
Reports To: HR Director
Department: HR Department
Supervisor Responsibilities: (none)
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage the whole recruitment process including job requisitions, posting job ads, setting up interviews, sending documents required to hiring managers, and following up on potential candidates.
Assist in sourcing candidates
Performing reference checks and background checks
Onboarding new hires
Preparing and conducting New Hire orientation
Attract, hire, and retain employees.
Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR Director
It is compiling and updating employee records.
Assist with Timekeeping records.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgment
Employees work on their assigned schedule and comply with the Employee Time Policy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow and retain procedures with a high level of accuracy
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask and prioritize a variety of tasks

Assist with day-to-day operations and all other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
Operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines.
1-3 years' experience in Human Resources and Recruiting.
1-3 years experience in the legal field or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work with prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk working on a computer.
Salary Commensurate with experience. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and certification.
