Job Description:
Colleges of Law is currently seeking a part-time HR and AP Coordinator. This role will report to the Director of Business Operations. This position will interact with managers, faculty, and employees to provide support in human resources and basic accounts payable tasks.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the adjunct faculty hiring and onboarding process in the HRIS system (Workday)
- Update and maintain employee and faculty handbooks on an annual basis
- Manage annual Title IX compliance training for faculty and employees through Vector LMS
- Produce monthly and annual compliance reports
- Oversee Federal Work Study business process and budget
- Administer accounts payable for ongoing vendors in the AP system (Workday)
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws with an emphasis on California employment laws
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and staff, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
Position Qualifications:
- 2 years experience of office administration preferred
- Adept in utilizing human resource information systems (HRIS) and/or AP system with Workday experience highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong organizational skills, including managing workload and projects, multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Preferred experience in Workday or other relevant systems
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (HR, Accounting, etc.)
