Our Opportunity:
The Senior Manager, Benefits Agency will manage a team to driving executional excellence across our client-sponsored group benefit programs. The role requires an individual who can effectively manage and lead a team to meet and exceed corporately assigned objectives. The position requires an individual who displays proactive drive, team building, determination, and self-motivation to drive operational efficiencies. The Senior Benefits Agency Manager will work alongside internal departments to service and maintain existing accounts while uncovering opportunities for improving overall client relations and assisting with maintaining the current ASO book of business.
What You'll Do:
- Effectively manage Agency Operations end to end, including outsourced vendors, ensuring accurate records are maintained and optimal employee support is provided.
- Ensure ASO benefits programs are in line with company policies, plan documents, and applicable regulations.
- Work closely with our Payroll team to ensure efficient and employee friendly processes resulting in accurate benefits deductions from employee paychecks and employee accounts are properly funded (e.g. 401K, HSA, FSA).
- Partner with our Client Success team to respond to escalated employee benefit issues.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment/benefits laws and regulations and oversee compliance audits, required filings, and all other compliance related initiatives as required.

Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five to seven years minimum in an Agency management capacity with oversight on end-to-end ASO benefit administration, renewals, and open enrollment activities.
- Minimum of three to five years of experience effectively managing an Agency team.
- Must have extensive experience with ERISA, COBRA, HIPPA, ACA and other benefits compliance requirements. Customer-centric, organized and detail-oriented.
- Active Accident and Health Agent License.
- Ability to partner cross functionally within the organization and externally with vendor partners effectively. Experience with HR systems, Excel, Analytical skills.
