Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
As part of the HR Operations team, process data entry and transactional data for the HR systems of record for all new hires, transfers, promotions, and employee changes for classified, managerial, administration, academic support, and student employees. Serve as the principal backup for maintenance of the Human Resources system. Responsible for processing managerial, classified, faculty and administrators' tuition discounts, and professional development Concur requests. Assist with record keeping of faculty range changes in partnership with the Compensation Analysts.
- Process data entry and transactional data for the HR systems of record for all new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and employee changes for classified, managerial, administration, and student employees.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the process documentation and forms used for all system data entry including the professional development process.
- Collect all approved information relating to employment or personnel changes, transfers, GL account numbers, and terminations for managerial, classified, and student employees and enters information onto the database.
- Assist in the data entry of the annual wage change process. Assist the compensation analysts with the calculation of the above maximum of range stipends.
- Approve, process, and maintain the files of all prior approval forms for class credit and tuition discounts/waivers and professional development for managerial, classified, faculty, professionals, and administrators and send correspondence as updates occur.
- Process professional development funds for tuition/dues reimbursements through Concur.
- Assist in the record keeping on faculty range changes with the compensation analysts.
- Maintain records necessary for personnel files across data entry transactions ensuring the files remain up to date and accurate.
- Perform additional data entry for the compensation area as needed.
- Process minimum wage or student rate increases as required.
- Assist in running reports to verify and maintain HR system data accuracy as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education
- High School graduate required.
- AA Degree in Business or equivalent preferred.
- Experience
- Minimum two (2) years' of experience in high volume data entry office environment required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel required.
- Perform calculations quickly and accurately required.
- Experience with human resources or accounting/financial details in data entry or systems maintenance preferred.
Working Conditions:
- MS Office software including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- General office environment.
- Background check and pre-employment background check at the College's expense required.

Hiring Range:
Classified 10 Hourly/24.00 - 26.00 - based on experience
