About Us: Impact HR Group is dedicated to fostering a fair and rewarding work environment. We are seeking an experienced Compensation Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis to help manage and improve the compensation programs among our client companies. This position is extremely flexible. You could likely keep your existing 9-5 job and just do this on the side.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Benchmarking and Pay Bands:
- Provide compensation benchmarks for assigned clients by analyzing market data.
- Build and maintain pay bands for various job titles for the client company, ensuring competitive and equitable compensation structures.
Compensation Program Audit and Design:
- Make suggestions to align compensation programs with company goals.
- Audit and design variable pay programs, such as bonuses and profit-sharing plans.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with compensation-related regulations, including FLSA and pay equity laws.
Employee Engagement and Retention:
- Align rewards and recognition with performance and career growth.
- Provide ideas for long-term incentive programs.
Pay Gap Analysis:
- Conduct pay equity analyses to identify and address pay gaps.
- Develop strategies to ensure fair compensation for all employees.
Qualifications:
- Someone with deep experience in compensation analysis and program design.
- Strong understanding of compensation regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and compensation software.
- Excellent Excel skills.
Work Schedule: Part-time, only a few hours a week is needed to begin with. Realistically, this role could be a contractor position too if the contractor meets IRS requirements.
