The Senior HRIS Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Ceridian Dayforce, that supports the organization’s HR functions and goals. This role will also work closely with various stakeholders within and outside the HR department to ensure the HRIS meets their needs and expectations. The Senior HRIS Analyst is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of an organization's HR systems and processes. This role manages and analyzes HR data, implements new technology solutions, and provides insights to support strategic decision-making.
The incumbent will be responsible for partnering with HR on strategy and providing proactive system solutions with a strong focus on driving the continuous improvement of automation, self-service, employee experience, and data integrity.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrates highest standards of personal and professional integrity, adheres to company’s policies and procedures, and complies with applicable laws, government rules and regulations.
- Manage and maintain the HRIS system, including system configuration, data integrity, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to assess and analyze current HRIS processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain HRIS policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide support and training to HR staff and end-users on HRIS functionality, ensuring proper utilization of the system's capabilities.
- Create and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide accurate and timely HR data for management decision-making. This includes gathering requirements from end-users, document requirements, and testing of new reports.
- Answers end-user questions and ensures issues are tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT department and vendors to ensure seamless integration of HRIS with other systems and troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Coordinates with internal business owners to identify root causes of and solutions to data integrity issues.
- Writing test plans, coordinating and conducting testing, and driving necessary changes to support the business requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to HR technology and recommend enhancements or new tools that align with the organization's needs.
- Lead or contribute to HRIS-related projects, such as system upgrades or implementations, process improvements, and data migration. This includes testing, documentation, and training.
- Ensure data privacy and security by implementing and maintaining appropriate controls and protocols.
- Assist in the fund time sheet integration.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Administration, or in related field from a four-year college or university or equivalent professional knowledge and/or work experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS administration, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- 2 years experience with Dayforce Reporting, including Advanced and Matrix reporting, Dashboards, and Hubs preferred.
- 3 years of Dayforce configuration experience is required.
- Dayforce timekeeping experience a plus.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Certification in HRIS systems or project management is a plus.
- Dayforce certification a plus.
Skills:
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook are required for this position.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance requirements and data privacy regulations.
- Experience in process improvement and system implementation projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly with advanced functions in Microsoft Excel
