Bristol Bay Shared Services, LLC (BBSS) is hiring an HR Recruiter to join our team supporting the Government Services Group. This team member will work closely with our HR department, hiring managers and stakeholders to develop and execute an in-depth recruiting strategy for regular full time staffing. The position is located in San Antonio Texas and will be a hybrid work schedule of (3) three days a week in the office.
Major Responsibilities
- Source candidates using a variety of search methods (outreach, social media and website outreach, etc.) to build a robust candidate pipeline
- Develop and execute a recruiting strategy and branding for Government Services positions that includes the company’s culture and benefits.
- Develop a recruitment plan focused on identifying and developing relationships with key DoD (Department of Defense) recruiting sources and attend recruiting events as needed.
- Identify opportunities for BBNC shareholder hire
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials and perform phone screenings
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify vacant roles and ideal candidate profile
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resources staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates and other pertinent details.
- Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
- Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms in line with the company compensation policy
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
- Manage the overall interview, selection, and transition to the onboarding process
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and Company policy.
- Create and maintain resume database for potential candidates and keep in touch with past candidates
Minimum Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of recruiting experience preferred supporting multiple companies with a high volume of positions to be filled
Required Knowledge or Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable making decisions independently
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking, onboarding, and HRIS systems
- Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing tool and avenues such as LinkedIn and other similar data sources
- Experience with hiring for roles within the Government Contracting market
