Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Administrator will help fulfill CMHA-CEI’s mission while adhering to its values and commitment to address diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice to ensure that the work of the organization is guided by a framework of equity principles and processes. This position is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of programs that promote diversity equity and inclusion agency wide. Serve as Chair of the Diversity Advisory Council, facilitating its initiatives and implementing the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice Strategic Plan. Partners closely across the organization to identify and understand DEI and training needs. This role is also responsible for developing training and initiatives to create and foster an open and inclusive environment. Provides consultation and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements, policies and procedures and answers a wide range of questions within areas of responsibility. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the department in such a manner that fulfills Community Mental Health Authority mission, policies and procedures.
Requirements: Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree. A minimum of five years’ experience in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion related area with demonstrated subject matter expertise and facilitating teaching experience in these subjects. Minimum one year of experience in a progressively more responsible position as a lead professional, administrator or supervisor.
