Summary:
The Sr Compensation Analyst analyzes, designs, and administers Forefront compensation programs, including base pay, short-term incentives, and commissions, which align with company objectives for recruiting, retention, and employee engagement. Designs and communicates pay structures, grades, compensation budgets, and guidelines. Advises leaders on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with Forefront’s compensation practices, policies, and budgetary guidelines. Evaluates jobs and develops and maintains job descriptions and job architecture. Participates in compensation surveys, conducts research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends.

Responsibilities:
Compensation Administration
- Develop and ensure effective application of the company's compensation programs and practices to internal client groups, HRBP's, management, employees & Talent Acquisition team.
- Develop analytics of our current compensation structures and proposed updates or changes. This includes but is not limited to data analysis, forecasting, modeling, and dashboards.
- Partner closely with Finance to ensure proper oversight of compensation programs, aligned with the budget process and leadership expectations.
- Manage company Short Term Incentive plans. Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of merit increases, market adjustments, & bonus programs.
- Lead market assessments to evaluate jobs, competitiveness of target incentives, pay mix, and total target cash. Present business case for any recommended changes.
- Oversee the participation in salary surveys and monitor salary survey market data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.
- Actively support HR team members and cross-functional partners and look for opportunities to improve processes, policies, and service levels.
- Support and lead ad hoc compensation projects as needed.
Education and Communication
- Develop analytical tools and support the Sr Director of Total Rewards in developing and launching education resources to support Forefront leaders.
- Work with Sr Director Total Rewards and the Controller on an interactive process where Compensation is part of the annual budget cycle and pro-actively partners with leadership so they can budget for future needs appropriately.
Technology
- Manage market-based salary software.
- Serve as a key resource in the configuration and deployment of a new Compensation Administration tool.
- Assists in the implementation and maintenance of a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Compliance
- Comply with local/federal compensation requirements, statutes, and stay abreast of changing laws.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, statistics, finance, or a related field (additional years of experience beyond the requirement below can be in exchange for a particular major).
- 5 years of experience in a similar capacity with comprehensive compensation administration background required, including analysis of data and legal compliance. Healthcare experience or work in a private equity setting is preferred.
- Experience in a complex, multi-site, multi-state organization, with some international experience (particularly Canada) preferred.
- Experience with acquisition integrations preferred, particularly in a high growth organization.
- HR or compensation related certification preferred (i.e. PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, CCP).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (ADP experience is a plus), highly proficient if not mastery of Excel.
