What You’ll Be Doing:
We are adding to our team! Join a group of dedicated and passionate team members in support of the Human Resources function. We are looking for a motivated and driven Senior HR Coordinator with one to three years of generalist experience to support our HR Business Partner team for multiple companies. This will be a remote role in the Colorado Springs area with required availability to meet in office at least twice a month. You’ll be learning about TFG and its subsidiaries and assisting the HR Business Partner(s) with administrative tasks and general Human Resources duties. Location: Remote in Denver, CO (with travel to Colorado Springs 2-3 times per month)
Sr. Human Resources Coordinator Duties/Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of one or more HR Business Partners, is a vital source of general human resources information for our employees.
- Abides by company HR processes and current employment laws and regulations.
- Assists HR Business Partner(s) in educating managers and employees on company policies and procedures.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
- Organizes, maintains, and updates employee HRIS information, as needed.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs.
- Answers general benefits questions.
- May perform some recruitment duties, facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Assist HR Business Partner with corrective action documentation and discussions, up to and including separation of employment.
- Maintains general knowledge of trends, best practices, employment laws, and HR related technologies.
- Supports any other special projects that arise based on organizational need.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Sr. Human Resources Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications
- Bilingual English and Spanish highly preferred.
- ADP Workforce Now experience helpful, but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take direction and work independently to see tasks through to completion.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to pivot to higher priority items at any time.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related business and communication tools
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- A minimum of one year of human resource generalist experience required
