We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training and Development Manager for a client in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs to ensure the professional development of employees. The successful candidate will have a passion for learning and development and will be committed to driving the growth and success of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives
- Identify training needs through job analysis, performance appraisals, and consultation with managers
- Collaborate with other departments to identify training needs and create customized courses
- Design and deliver engaging training programs using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning platforms
- Coordinate presentations, job simulations, and role-playing exercises
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary
- Manage coordination and delivery of new employee training
- Stay up-to-date with developments in training and development field
- Develop career development plans for employees and provide guidance and support in achieving their goals
- Create and maintain training records and reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent expereince
- Proven work experience as a Training and Development Manager or similar role, with the ability to manage a team
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and learning strategies
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees and stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective training programs using a variety of methods
- Proficiency in learning management systems and e-learning platforms
- Ability to adapt and learn new processes and systems
