About the Role
As the Vice President of Total Rewards, you will be a key strategic leader responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing Lyra’s global total rewards strategy. This role is built for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compensation, benefits, and recognition programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. The role is critical to the People leadership team and reports to the Chief People Officer.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with the company's objectives and values, ensuring that it supports our scale and growth plans
- Proactively conduct regular analyses of market trends and benchmarks to ensure competitiveness and effectiveness of total rewards programs, including ensuring they align with the company's values and meet the diverse needs of employees
- Stay abreast of global regulations and legislation related to compensation and benefits
- Ensure all total rewards programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction
- Develop and manage performance management programs, including merit increases, bonuses, and recognition initiatives
- Implement and maintain a robust recognition and rewards program to foster a positive, high-performance culture
- Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals and provide them with guidance, feedback, and development opportunities
- Remain visible and accessible to the broader base of leaders, managers, and employees to promote understanding and support for the company’s reward programs
- Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and benefits providers
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize services and costs
- Expertly utilize analytics to assess the effectiveness of total rewards programs and provide insights for continuous improvement
- Regularly present trends, findings, and reports to senior leadership on vital total rewards metrics and programs, including analyses, materials, and recommendations to the Compensation and Talent Committee of the Board of Directors
- 10+ years of experience in total rewards
- Strong understanding of global employment laws and regulations with demonstrated experience in global strategy
- Expert analytical capabilities, particularly the ability to identify market gaps in all elements of global total reward programs and risks
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful compensation and benefits programs
- Strong executive presence, capable of effectively presenting ideas and recommendations to all organizational levels, including the Board of Directors, both verbally and in writing
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse team
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time Vice President, Total Rewards position is $234,000 - $322,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
