The Montrose Environmental Solutions (MES) Consulting Segment delivers solutions for complex environmental challenges using our regulatory expertise and implementing practical and cost-effective compliance management processes and programs. Our highly trained and experienced engineers and scientists, environmental and remediation specialists, geologists, hydrogeologists, biologists, and environmental compliance specialists work with public- and private-sector clients, delivering turnkey solutions.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
The ideal candidate for this role is located in Houston, TX but can be performed remotely in other MST or CST Time zones for the right candidate.
As a Talent Acquisition Partner for the MES consulting teams, your role will involve collaborating with our teams throughout the US & Canada. You will formulate proactive talent acquisition strategies to identify, attract, and secure top-tier talent. In this position, you will be pivotal in addressing internal and external recruiting requirements and managing the entire process from candidate generation to successful hire. A minimum of 7 years of talent acquisition experience is required, preferably within the environmental or a STEM-related industry.
As a key member of the Montrose Environmental Solutions (MES) human resources team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

Leading strategic end-to-end recruitment processes, from crafting compelling job postings to orchestrating impactful social media campaigns, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and overseeing offer negotiations.

Delivering comprehensive reporting on key recruitment metrics to facilitate informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement in talent acquisition processes.

Collaborating seamlessly with HR Business Partners and other HR team members to ensure a cohesive experience for hiring managers, applicants, and new hires.

Creating and implementing targeted talent strategies focused on attracting Top Talent, diversity and inclusion initiatives, enhancing new employee experiences, and fortifying employer branding efforts.

Developing and deploying recruiting tools and best practices, including standardized screening techniques, to effectively evaluate potential candidates' skills, qualifications, and experience.

Possessing strong consultative skills and providing insightful advice to cultivate value-additive talent acquisition partnerships.

Establishing strong rapport and partnerships with hiring managers, business, leaders, and cross-functional teams.

Engaging in networking events, such as career fairs and professional association meetings, and fostering collaborations with universities and colleges to strengthen talent pipelines.

Proactively working towards building a diverse and qualified team to support organizational goals.

Leveraging the applicant tracking system (Workday) to create job postings, collaborate with hiring managers on candidate reviews, and manage the end-to-end offer process.

Partnering on segment or company-wide recruitment projects to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the talent acquisition function, including initiatives such as candidate assessments, technology platform evaluations, interview guides, and recruiting training for leaders.

YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, individuals should be capable of executing each duty and responsibility proficiently. The qualifications outlined below reflect the necessary knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed.

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field and/or a combination of education and related experience.

7+ years of full-cycle talent acquisition and recruitment experience - environmental consulting industry preferred.

Excellent communication with a demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships and influence leaders from frontline managers to executives.
-
Experience leveraging data to develop and implement new recruitment strategies.
-
Demonstrated success leveraging technology to implement and streamline processes to drive consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Knowledge of and experience using recruitment and digital tools such as an applicant tracking system (Workday), electronic job boards (LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, Indeed), social media, and the ability to source and mobilize relevant candidates proactively.

Experience supporting teams in remote locations and leading interview and training sessions.

Solid understanding of employment laws to ensure compliance.

Travel: ability and willingness to travel locally, nationally, and internationally to support recruitment activities, HR meetings, and recruitment programs (approximately 10%)
