Duration: 1 year contract
Accountabilities
• Serves as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.
• Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
• Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees.
• Maintain group benefit database and update payroll as necessary.
• Audit the accuracy and performance of functions performed by Total Rewards team, reporting any deficiencies or opportunities for improvement to the Manager, Benefits.
• Perform plan audits. Prepare, collect and organize data for actuarial assessments.
• Submit annual filings, on time, to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.
• Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company’s benefit package.
• Develop knowledge articles to assist the Shared Services center operate efficiently.
• Provide ongoing training to Workforce Advisors and Consultants.
• Distribute legally required documents to team members
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor Degree- Human resources, business, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
• 4 years- Progressive professional experience in administering employee benefit programs, preferably in larger organizations.
Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
